$775,000 for 20 year old passenger with lacerated colon, ankle fracture

Plaintiff, age 20, was the front seat passenger in her friend's vehicle, which was involved in an intersection collision with another vehicle. Plaintiff sustained blunt abdominal trauma which required immediate exploratory surgery to repair multiple tears in the wall of the colon. She also suffered an ankle fracture which required surgery and a wrist fracture which was splinted. The plaintiff made an excellent recovery from all injuries, and returned to work three months after the accident. Plaintiff and the driver of the vehicle she was in both lost consciousness and didn't remember how the accident occurred. Based on testimony about events that occurred before the accident, and circumstantial evidence, Amy Rosenbloom was able to negotiate a settlement prior to trial.
